Superman/Batman: Public Enemies was released on September 29, 2009, and is an adaptation of "Public Enemies", the opening story arc of DC Comics' Superman/Batman comic series. The film is notably the only film in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies line to be in-continuity with another film, being its sequel, Superman/Batman: Apocalypse, which was released on September 28, 2010.
It is the sixth in the line of DC Universe Animated Original Movies to be released, the previous being Green Lantern: First Flight, and the next being Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths.
